Antara Nritya Niketan

A Learning & Performing Center Where Creativity & Passion For Dance Translate Into Live Art – Preserving The True Indian Culture!

Bharatanatyam at
Antara Nritya Niketan

BHARATANATYAM is a passion at Antara Nritya Niketan.

Antara, while embarking humbly upon its quest to pursue Bharatanatyam, believed that the Indian Dance Culture needed preservation & propagation in times when this Culture was in the danger of being obfuscated by a flippant world.

Approaching a milestone of 30 years, Antara has zealously pursued its passion and quest and today has come to be known as a foremost learning center for Bharatanatyam across the globe. This ardent effort has possibly resulted in the Bharatanatyam Dance form not just being kept alive but perhaps now has a pulsating life too. Of course, Antara humbly believes that its contribution is a mere drop in the ocean!

Antara Nritya Niketan has grown and so have its creative indulgences. Besides the traditional Bharatanatyam Dance education of the Pandanallur Gharana that it imparts, Antara has become a creative choreography center and now also deals in dance jewellery and costumes.
